2010 NJAR^® Communications Awards Applications Now Available

Each year the NJAR^® Communications and Public Relations Committee presents awards honoring local boards and associations for their communications endeavors. Specifically, the awards recognize excellence in communicating with members either through print or electronic newsletters as well as through websites. Local boards and associations interested in applying are encouraged to enter only one print or electronic newsletter as well as one website entry.  The NJAR^® Member Communications Awards will then be presented to winners at an awards ceremony during the annual Triple Play REALTOR® Convention and Trade Expo in Atlantic City each December. 

The 2010 NJAR^® Member Communications Awards applications are available on the AE Resources page.  The deadline for applications is July 31, 2010.

 

2010 NJAR^® Good Neighbor Award Application Now Available

The NJAR^® Good Neighbor Award recognizes REALTOR^® and REALTOR-ASSOCIATES^® who have made extraordinary contributions toward enhancing the quality of life in communities throughout New Jersey, across the nation and around the world. The 2010 winners of the award will receive donations made on behalf of their community service organizations in the amounts of $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second, or $1,000 for third place.  All winners will also receive publicity in New Jersey REALTOR^® magazine, and an award and recognition during the Triple Play REALTOR^® Convention & Trade Expo in December.   Click here to download the 2010 NJAR^® Good Neighbor Award application to nominate yourself or a fellow REALTOR^® today!

2010 Quarter Century Club Application Now Available

Each year, NJAR^® welcomes new members who have reached 25 years or more of membership in the association into the Quarter Century Club. Each new member of the Club receives a certificate and pin to honor this accomplishment.  The deadline for members to submit applications and documentation to their local boards/associations for 2010 Quarter Century Club induction is September 27, 2010. REALTOR^® and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE^® of the Year Awards

REALTOR^® and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE^® of the Year Awards recognize members who contribute an outstanding amount of time and energy to community and humanitarian services, and the real estate industry. The 2009 REALTOR^® of the Year is Glenn Mills of the Monmouth County Association of REALTORS^®.  The 2009 REALTOR-ASSOCIATE^® of the Year is Valerie Reynolds of the Ocean County Board of REALTORS^®.  Each winner was recognized at this year's Triple Play REALTOR® Convention and Trade Expo.  For more information about the winners' accomplishments, visit the REALTOR^® and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE^® of the Year Awards webpage.

Member Communications Awards

Each year the New Jersey Association of REALTORS^® Communications and Public Relations Committee presents several awards honoring local boards and associations for their communications and community service endeavors.  For more details on these awards, visit the Member Communications Awards webpage.

At this year's Triple Play REALTOR® Convention and Trade Expo, the 2009 Community Service Award - Small Board/Association Category was presented to the Cumberland County Board of REALTORS^®, and the 2009 Community Service Award - Large Board/Association Category was presented to RealSource Association of REALTORS®.

The 2009 Member Communications Award-newsletter category was presented to the Monmouth County Association of REALTORS®; for their newsletter REALTOR® Times of Monmouth/Ocean Counties.  The Monmouth County Association of REALTORS® also received the Member Communications Award-website category for their website www.momls.com.

 

NJAR^® Circle of Excellence Sales Award^®

Previously called the NJAR^® Million Dollar Sales Club, the award program was restructured and renamed in 2002 as the NJAR^® Circle of Excellence Sales Award^®. The NJAR^® Circle of Excellence Sales Award^® recognizes those members who have demonstrated excellence in the field of salesmanship. Members can also earn units for involvement in the industry and association, such as by earning a professional designation or participating on a volunteer committee on the local, state or national level.
