RPAC Contribution Deadline for Award Credit September 15
A minimum donation of $100 to the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) by September 15, 2008 earns you one unit of credit toward the NJAR® Circle of Excellence Sales Award®. Keep the date in mind as local boards/associations must receive your donation by the close of business on Monday, September 15 in order for you to be eligible for award credit. Make your contribution online or contact your local board/association
to make a contribution today.
Contributions are not deductible for
income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC
are voluntary and are used for political
purposes. You may contribute more or less
than the suggested amount. You may refuse to
contribute without reprisal and the National
Association of REALTORS® or any of its state
associations or local boards will not favor
or disfavor any member because of the amount
contributed. 70% of each contribution is
used by RPAC of New Jersey to support state
and local political candidates. Until RPAC
of New Jersey reaches its RPAC goal, 30% is
sent to National RPAC to support federal
candidates and is charged against your
limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a; after RPAC of
New Jersey reaches its RPAC goal it may
elect to retain your entire contribution for
use in supporting state and local
candidates.
