NJAR® HOSTING FREE SEMINAR ON BUYING A HOME IN TODAY'S REAL ESTATE MARKET

'The Clock is Ticking -- Time to Harness Your Home Buying Power' Series Set for South Jersey Event, Scheduled for July 29, 6:00-8:00 pm at the Grand Versailles Hotel

(Edison, NJ) The New Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR®) will continue its educational seminar series on July 29 at the Grand Versailles Hotel in Maple Shade, with a free event from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Clock is Ticking -- Time to Harness Your Home Buying Power will give attendees insight on the many different aspects of buying a home.

Experts from different areas of the housing industry will offer advice on how to make informed decisions in today's real estate market during a panel discussion led by NJAR® Executive Vice President Jarrod C. Grasso, RCE. In addition, participants will have the chance to speak to experts in a one-on-one setting. Panelists include Marge Della Vacchia, executive director of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (HFMA); Stephanie Bittner from the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Delaware Valley; NJAR® 2009 President Diane Dilzell; and Patrick O'Keefe, director of economic research for J.H. Cohn.

"From the $8,000 first-time buyer tax credit to the high affordability in New Jersey, there are so many opportunities in today's market that buyers can take advantage of," said NJAR® 2009 President Diane Dilzell. "These seminars are offering potential buyers guidance on every facet of the process to empower them to make the best decision for themselves about buying a home."

The two-hour seminar features exhibits, moderated discussion, and a Q&A session. Legal and financial experts, as well as representatives of state and federal government agencies, will all be in attendance, providing a rare opportunity for participants to gather relevant information in a one-stop-shopping environment.

All consumers, be they seasoned investors or first-time home buyers, will gain useful tips and practical knowledge to help them take advantage of New Jersey's unique conditions.

"This is a difficult time to be making investment decisions," said Dilzell. "These seminars will offer people thinking about buying a home the chance to learn the details about these opportunities as well as tips for making the most of them in a pressure-free environment."

Attendees will have a chance to clear away the question marks and learn about buying a home. Seating is limited and registration is required.
